  • A hands-on look at the different steps of illustrating, printing and publishing: early sketches and dummies with editorial proofs, f&g's (fold and gathers), and pre-cut press sheets--all of which demonstrate the many steps of making a book.
  • Interactive artist/group illustration which helps students understand the process of creating a character and situation.
  • Slide show describing the various stages of artwork from acceptance of manuscript to completed book.
  • Question and answer session.
Programs are 45 minutes to one hour in length. Jill modifies each presentation according to the age range of the group.Contact Jill for more information or to arrange a visit with your school.
